Our Story

Welcome to Hidden Treasures! I'm Twila, and pictured with me on the left is Shantelle, my store manager.

My journey in retail began in 1988 at Lemstones in Valley West Mall. From there, I moved on to Wellspring in the '90s, followed by Connxions in Urbandale in 2008.

In 2011, I joined Healing Touch in Altoona, located in Lutz Pharmacy. Gene and Susan Lutz, who have been well-known in the Altoona community for many years, were very helpful on my path.

I purchased Healing Touch in 2015 and rebranded it as Hidden Treasures in 2016. We relocated in 2018, sharing a space with LaTeDa Consignment shop until 2022.

Recently, in 2023, Merle Norman joined us at our current location, enriching our community further. Together, with Stems Flower Shop just two doors down we are the perfect stop to find that perfect and unique gift for all your special someones!

We are thrilled to celebrate our 10th anniversary in April 2025. We are so grateful for all of you who have supported us over the years!
